Boeing 767 Non-normal Configuration Landing Distance

 WELCOME ADVANCE FLYING ACADEMY

BOEING 767 PILOT TRAINING COURSE STEP BY STEP

Non-normal Configuration Landing Distance
Advisory information is provided to support non-normal configurations
that affect the landing performance of the airplane. Landing distances and
adjustments are provided for dry runways and runways with good,
medium, and poor reported braking action.
Enter the table with the applicable non-normal configuration and read the
normal approach speed. The reference landing distance is a reference distance from 50 ft above the threshold to stop based on a reference landing weight and speed at sea level, zero wind, and zero slope. Subsequent columns provide adjustments for off-reference landing weight, altitude,
wind, slope, and speed conditions. Each adjustment is independently added
to the reference landing distance. Landing distance includes the effects of
max manual braking and reverse thrust.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE (R and C) Non-Normal Configuration Landing Distance is based on accumulator-only braking.
Accumulator braking may be lost before the airplane comes to a stop. A footnote underneath the table indicates which reported braking action is affected by accumulator depletion. After loss of accumulator braking, the aircraft will roll to a stop within the landing distance shown in the table with only aerodynamic drag and rolling friction slowing the aircraft down.
Accumulator-only landing distances do not account for a tire failure. In
case of a tire failure, stopping distance may increase substantially, because
potentially increased anti-skid activity may deplete accumulator pressure
more rapidly.
